About Us

Work in Progress is a literary magzine focused on empowering tweens and teens in the literary and art world.

For many young artists, finding a location that feels welcoming can be a challenge. Hardly any publications accept work from those younger than 13, however, the Work in Progress magazine aims to create a space for artists as young as 10 to inspire the world together through the use of words and pictures.

The Team

Gisela Bunch

Email: giselasbunch@gmail.com

Gisela has been a passionate writer since she was young, and she remembers grasping at any opportunities she had to write and create. As she has grown, her love of art has grown with her. Unfortunately, as a younger artist, she struggled with finding publications that supported tweens, which caused her to become discouraged. She created the magazine with a dream that no other artist should feel similarly because of a lack of support. When she’s not writing, she enjoys running, watching Netflix, listening to music, and reading.

She looks forward to finally using the work in progress magazine as an outlet for her own art, and to inspire other young artists to always grasp onto opportunities.
